Macquarie Private Wealth adviser David Kiely lost his job after being caught on live Australian TV looking at semi-nude pictures of Australian model Miranda Kerr on his computer. He was in the background while a colleague was being interviewed for the news.
So the folks at website want people to send an e-mail of support for Kiely to Macquarie Group headquarters in Sydney, Australia, using the words "Don't fire David Kiely" in the subject line.
"Whether set up or not, Kiely was really only guilty of being in the wrong place at the wrong time," states the campaign. "There but for the Grace of God . . ."
The London-based website lists some of the reasons it is supporting Kiely: He seems nice; the pictures weren't pornographic; and there's way too much political correctness.
Oh, and let's not forget the free publicity!
