Living in Ireland? Apparently the best place to find cock might be at the country's oldest seminary, St. Patrick’s College in Maynooth. The school has been accused of having a gay sex problem on campus.  

 

Although the claims have come from anonymous sources, through blogs and letters, the archbishop of Dublin is taking the reports seriously. Dr. Diarmuid Martin announced that he will no longer allow his student priests to attend the 221-year-old Catholic institution.

 

Martin revealed that he was "somewhat unhappy about an atmosphere that was growing" at the college, and that it was not a healthy place for his students.

 

"There are allegations on different sides," he said. "One is that there is a homosexual, a gay culture, that students have been using an app called Grindr, which is a gay dating app, which would be inappropriate for seminarians, not just because they are trained to be celibate priests but because an app like that is something which would be fostering promiscuous sexuality, which is certainly not in any way the mature vision of sexuality one would expect a priest to understand."

 

He said he will send would-be priests to Rome for training, or have them work at parishes in Dublin instead.

 

The president of St. Patrick’s college, Monsignor Hugh Connolly, countered that there is no evidence of a gay sex problem, and there have been no official complaints about sexual misconduct.

 

"A seminarian needs to know he is preparing for a lifetime of celibacy — that’s non-negotiable," Connolly explained.
