Sean Ford speaks out for sex workers

Porn  model Sean Ford was one of several people invited to write for V Magazine’s "The Thought Leaders.” The special collection of essays is focused on the upcoming US election and how important it is for people to vote. From Julianne Moore to Taylor Swift, there are some pretty big names providing their thoughts on how voting can change everything from systemic racism to gun violence.

Ford chose to focus on the struggle of sex workers, and how voting in all races is essential to improving their lives. 

:

To a degree, adult performance is sex work, which is a marginalized profession. It’s not the same as people who engage in sex work in more risky scenarios. But adult performers do experience the levers of power being used against them and discrimination in their industry, especially if they’re not white. A lot of them are showing solidarity with marginalized communities and workers of all stripes.

I believe in down-ballot initiatives and getting progressives elected. That’s how I think we can maximize our gains.

Of course, Ford knows what he's taliing about. He has been appearing in porn for several years now, working for Helix Studios and CockyBoys.
