Pizza and a dildo: just a phone call away

Necessity is indeed the mother of invention. Anthony Mikrut found this out when, at 3 in the morning, he and his girlfriend went digging through the house for a few toys to spice up their mundane, early morning fuckfest.

"We figured you can get pizza any time of night," he said. "Why can't you get [sex] toys?"

The result: , a delivery service promising vibrators and lube in under an hour. And in 2 1/2 years Mikrut said he's busier than ever, in spite of the recession.

"I think people like to have a little fun when they're not having the best time in the market," he said.

He offers customers 1,500 items to choose from, including videos, condoms and even special furniture.

Women call more often than men. "Men might be more thought-out about it," said one satisfied customer. "I usually buy something in the moment of wanting it."

"Everyone I [talk to], they're always happy," he said. "That's my favorite part."

Sadly, the business is only located in Chicago. The rest of us will have to be a little better prepared when we want to play. Unless Pizza Hut ...
