Southern Strokes was a unique site for years, specializing in hot amateurs from the Southern US. However, the site went into dormancy for quite some time and when it re-emerged a few years ago, new updates were nothing like the old Southern Strokes. Be aware: on the sign-up page, there is an easy to miss pre-checked sign-up for another site. You will also find ads for other sites throughout the site.

The Southern Strokes tour lets you preview about fifteen of the most recent updates featured on the home page. You can browse the video and model indexes, but there are no more free clips beyond the home page, or even text descriptions.

Usability

The homepage highlights the most recent scenes, upcoming videos and models. Click "Browse" and a drop down menu allows you to search specifically for videos, models, photos or specific categories (like anal, 3-ways or blindfolds). Each individual episode page includes links to the model's profiles, options for video viewing and downloading, an episode description, and an image gallery.

The Men and the Action

Older videos are from the original Southern Strokes. The guys are sexy and fit, youthful and masculine at the same time. Many fit the good ole' boy profile, with big dicks, toned bodies, sexy tattoos -- and a girlfriend. Of these originals, around two-thirds of the videos are solo shoots and a growing number are guy-on-guy movies. The style is fairly standard: there's a friendly chat before the solo, and for the duo or group action the guys just dive right in.

Summing Up

Southern Strokes' focus on Southern amateurs was a great idea and the core content is very hot, but the newer updates don't follow the same theme.
