Steve Cruz launches safe sex site

Porn star Steve Cruz is confronting what he sees as a growing indifference to safer sex by launching a new website, . On the site Steve adds a personal touch to emphasize the importance of continuing to use condoms in order to live healthier lives.

"I was getting an HIV test one day when my counselor at the SF Department of Health asked questions about my sexual history," he says on the site. "Piecing together the last year I realized a disturbing trend. First was that I fucked a lot of guys (ok not so disturbing). And second, more and more guys were asking me to bareback. Truthfully, the only place I felt safe from this pressure was at work on a porn set. (shrug) How ironic right?!"

Will Cruz be accused of preaching? He doesn't think so. "I am not here to wag my finger in your face. You have figure out 'How You Roll'. If nothing else I am here to remind us all that safer and hotter sex is still happening…"
