Companies fear travel sites over porn sites?

According to a released Tuesday, UK companies are more concerned that their employees are perusing social networking and travel sites than exploring porn at work. 300 companies were interviewed and those who actively blocked online content focused their efforts on pages like or .

"Gambling and adult sites are the most obvious genres to be banned in the workplace," said Neil Hammerton, European vice president at Webroot, a leader in online security. "(But) they are also the most socially stigmatized, and it seems that these areas are now relatively self-policing.

The social networking and travel sites are "clearly less stigmatized in the workplace which appears to indicate why they have overtaken the obvious choices in terms of which are the most frequently blocked," Hammerton explained.
