The three British men who were found guilty this month of inciting hatred against gays have each been sentenced to time in prison.
They had been arrested after handing out a series of pamphlets claiming that homosexuality could only be cured by the death penalty. It included an image of a mannequin hanging from a noose, and cited Islamic texts.
Ihjaz Ali will be jailed for two years, while Mehboob Ahmed and Umar Javed received 15 months each.
Judge John Burgess told the men: "You have been convicted of intending to stir up hatred. It follows that your intention was to do great harm in a peaceful community."
"I am obviously keen to dissuade anyone from distributing this sort of material in the future," Burgess added.
We're sure these three brainiacs will not be missed.
